Spring Tablescaping

As Spring showers and warm temperatures start to appear, it has us in the mood for the change of seasons. The new season brings fresh blooms and brightened spirits. With that as an inspiration, I decided to stick with our classic Nutmeg McCarty pottery and a hint of the McCarty Jade collection as a breath of fresh air and a lighter look.

To set my base, I used our newest arrivals in paper table runners and placemats. The green and white stripes in the table runner serve as a great contrast and pop of color off of the more natural and dark table. The placemats, with their floral pattern, coordinate accordingly and really give a Spring accent to the table.

For the centerpiece, I built a base out of green boxwood. On top of the boxwood, I added a wooden dough bowl full of green moss balls. The wood from the dough bowl and the different types of greenery help to create texture in my centerpiece. To finish the centerpiece, I placed several McCarty bunnies to keep the theme of Spring alive.

For my place settings I used a Nutmeg McCarty charger, Nutmeg coffee cups, and Jade bowls. The Jade collection helped to bring the Spring colors on top of the Nutmeg chargers.

To complete the look, I accented each place setting with a place card in the shape of a topiary. This accent brings together my greenery from the centerpiece and the jade from the McCarty bowls. Whether you are setting your table for a dinner with friends and family or planning out an Easter lunch, this look is guaranteed to impress! Join me next time for our newest tablescape. Happy tablescaping, y'all!
