Cotton Harvest

It's that time of year again. On a drive through West Tennessee last week, cotton fields were blooming aplenty. There's nothing like a crisp breeze in the air and a field full of cotton. So for this week's table, we decided to bring the crisp breeze and field to you. Our base is, as usual, books. Great for creating dimension--if you haven't tried it, it's a must! We chose books in whites and blues in order to bring the colors from the crisp blue skyline in the cotton field.

We layered our new obsession, the Norah vase, on top of our books. The Norah vase brings raw, natural elements to the table.  Fill your vases with cotton stems and mistletoe sprigs.

To add another pop of blue, we stacked our blue/green vase behind our Norah vases. It anchors the centerpiece and also brings a reflective element to the design.

With the place settings, we kept it simple. A linen napkin as the charger with a coordinating Etta B dinner plate and salad plate in Birch make for a clean, classic look.

We topped it with the Blue Etta B Square Ice Cream Dish to tie in the blue from the centerpiece. Finish it off with a small sprig of cotton in each dish to complete the look! All we need now is a warm cup of cider and a hot chicken chili.
